GGTV History

As with all products the saying that "you get what you pay for" is never so more apparent than in the technical area of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV).

The product knowledge behind the GGTV systems were developed from over 30 years experience within the security industry by the owner and Managing Director of GGTV Livestock Monitoring Systems, Mr Kim Langton.

Kim is a licensed NSW Security Consultant with both Australian and International experience and who also just happens to have a love of horses. The idea for GGTV came from an incident when his float transporting two horses caught on fire, from then on he wanted to see his horses when travelling.

This initial concept has now developed into a company supplying cameras and monitoring systems for floats, transport trucks, goosenecks and state of the art microwave video links for stables and foaling yards.

Extensive research indicated that reliability and quality of picture were the two paramount requirements for a transport surveillance system. The equipment needed:

  • To be resilient to the battering of corrugated dirt roads, dust / grime, water and rodents such as mice and rats.

  • To perform at all temperatures and operate with equal picture quality by night or day.

  • To have quality hard wearing plug connections between the floats or gooseneck and their prime mover. That the connections were resilient to mud and water and could withstand a lifetime of exposure to the elements.

  • To have monitors designed to secure onto either dash or ceiling mounts to prevent in the event of an accident them becoming an unexpected missile

  • And the systems to operate on either 12 or 24 volts to facilitate cars or trucks.

GGTV Livestock Monitoring Systems provide these features with a guaranteed quality product,
